Each metal stairs project has its own gallery of images that tell the story of building the bespoke stairs

Ballsbridge
 Curved Stairs

This helical stairs was a real challenge for the builders and plasters refurbishing an apartment in Ballsbridge  I marked out the stairs on-site and used the same markings in my workshop Notice in the pictures that I developed specialist skinny stringers to suit the plasterers on site.

Limerick
Curved Stairs

In this project the curve stairs or not symmetrical and that ultimately detracted from the simplicity and beauty of the Finnish job.
The customer was an absolute dream to work with and designed this simple walnut and iron railing. It's not a good idea to put a railing on both sides of a curved stairs. It is far better to build against a curved wall.

Spiral Stairs

This red metal spiral staircase was a true test of my fabrication skills. In the stairs photographs you can see that I made the stairs in the horizontal position in a special jig. I often have to develop unique new ways of constructing metal staircases to achieve the client’s desired look.

Contemporary Stairs

Cabinteely
Stairs

I made this simple contemporary metal stairs banister to replace the old banister on an existing stairs. The Customer designed it from photographs that I emailed her. I think she did a great job merging three different stairs designs for her own unique look. I am very lucky to get the chance to put customers ideas into practical pieces of work

Galway
Freestyle Stairs

I made this contemporary artistic stairs railing for an existing wooden stairs in Galway city. Every detail is different and you can see the way I mark it out in the workshop on the workbench. I also made an outside railing and pedestrian Gate in the same style of metalwork for the front of the house.
Curved Stairs

Rathgar
Stairs

This industrial metal stairs railing in Rathgar is deceptively simple in look. The challenge here was to do the metal work in the house after the woodwork was highly finished. Notice that the metal work has a polished finish this was applied on site and requirements maintenance. The customer and I were delighted with the end result.

Wexford
Contemporary Stairs

I made this contemporary white metal stairs to suit wooden steps the client had made elsewhere. I delivered the stairs to Wexford and spend one day fitting the stairs it was made this way to keep it within the client’s budget and time frame. The lead time for this stairs was 10 days.

Tipperary
Stairs

The wrought iron stairs in this project fitted very nicely into this cottage refurbishment. The stairs is only 700 mm wide it did not comply with building regulations. However we got the stairs to work very well and no alterations were made to the existing stairwell size in the Cottage. This is just one of the advantages with my wrought iron stairs range they are very versatile.
